Childcare Assistance

At Little Learners, we believe that access to quality childcare should never be out of reach. That’s why we want families to know about Child Care Services (CCS)—a program operated entirely through the state of Texas that can help eligible families afford the cost of care.

What is CCS / CCMS?

The Child Care Services (CCS) program, sometimes called CCMS (Child Care Management Services), is part of the Texas Workforce Solutions system. It provides financial assistance for childcare to families who are working, attending school, or participating in job training. The program helps parents find stable care while they work toward economic self-sufficiency, and supports early learning for children.

CCMS is not affiliated with Little Learners and is fully managed by the state. Our goal is simply to make sure local families are aware of this potential resource.

  • Who Can Apply:

    • Families with children 6 weeks to 12 years old
    • Parents who are working, in school, or in training
    • Income must meet eligibility guidelines (we recommend reviewing the chart provided by the state)
  • Important to Know:

Our region currently has a 9+ month waitlist for childcare assistance, so we strongly encourage families to apply early if they may qualify.

This program is not affiliated with Little Learners and does not directly benefit us—we simply want to ensure that families in our community are aware of the assistance that may be available to them.
