Our Team

At Little Learners, we believe great care starts with great people. Our dedicated team is the heart of our center—bringing warmth, passion, and professionalism to every child’s day.

Founder & Owner

Hannah Hernandez

With a degree in Early Childhood Education and years of experience in teaching and childcare, Hannah founded Little Learners to provide the kind of nurturing, high-quality care she values as both an educator and a mother. At home, Hannah enjoys homestead life, baking fresh bread and cookies, and spending time with her four children. She believes the best childhoods are filled with sunshine, hands-on learning, and the kind of simple moments that leave lasting memories.

Co-Founder & Operations Director

Matthew Hernandez

Matthew brings his background in construction and project management to support the growth and daily operations of Little Learners. After fully renovating the center, he continues to help with facility upkeep, and ensure the environment remains safe, functional, and welcoming. In addition to working as a contractor Matthew is often busy tackling home projects, hauling the Little Learners trailer to community events, playing baseball, and spending time outdoors with his kids.

She believes in building strong connections with every child, family, and teacher to create a true community. Melissa currently serves as the school counselor at Hillsboro Elementary and continues to bring her passion for education and child development to Little Learners. She and her husband have three children—Noah, Abigail, and Emelia—and in their spare time, they enjoy good food and watching sports together.
