Our Story

Little Learners began as a response to something deeply personal: the challenge of finding care that worked for our growing family.
As a mom of four and an early childhood educator, I’ve lived both sides of the childcare crisis. But when my husband and I had three children under the age of three, we quickly realized how limited availability was—especially for families with multiple young children. It was a season of waiting, hoping, and hard decisions.
That experience inspired something bigger than just a solution for our own family. It sparked the vision for Little Learners—a center built on heart, purpose, and a deep commitment to families like ours.
With my experience in education and my husband’s hands-on work in construction, we started from the ground up—literally. We didn’t have a brand-new building or endless resources, but we had a clear mission: to create a place where children are known, nurtured, and encouraged to grow, and where educators feel supported, respected, and empowered to make a difference.
Today, Little Learners serves children from infants to preschool, offering a research-based curriculum, a warm and welcoming environment, and a focus on each child’s social, emotional, and developmental needs. We are TRS-certified, we accept childcare subsidies, and we work every day to expand access to early learning in our community.
This is more than a school. It’s a reflection of our story and our belief in the power of early childhood. Every decision we make is rooted in the kind of care we would want for our own children—because that’s how it all began.
